The Attachedcollectionbridges between past and present.
It combines familiar and favorite raw materials, with which I have worked in the past, into the world of clay and ceramics, which I am working with at present.I took the liberty of challenging the “rules” for working in clay, the accepted and familiar, the “correct” and conventional, in order to create
something else, more uniquely my own, that contains the whole to which I aspire, and the complexity of the partial. By means of the impossible cuts, incisions into the whole, I succeeded in creating complex artworks showing that the “whole is far more than the sum of its parts”. The “Attached” collection includes artworks and light fixtures that introduce a wonderful play of light and shadow emerging through the incisions.
