Knitted
This collection was born from my nostalgia and yearning for the knitting I did as a child, and it integrates past love with present passion. The clay is combined here with knitting, embroidery and macramé threads, in the most unusual and unique way.
This almost unnatural combination of clay and knitting creates a harmony that softens the clay and makes it all the more
delicate. The combination of hand crafted clay and knitting, creates a surprising and unique complex piece that arouses nostalgia in the observer. The collection is a response to the longing for a simple and stress-free way of life taking pleasure in the small, comforting things such as snuggling under a soft blanket in front of the fire, or a get together of good friends over a cup of tea.
